Since operations began in Mülheim an der Ruhr in 1988, a modern storage and reloading point for secondary raw materials has evolved. With its close connections to the European road, rail and waterway systems, its position in the heart of the one of the scrap centres of the world enables the company to cater to all the needs of its suppliers and customers, based mainly in Europe.
Its machinery, which includes a shavings crusher and scrap packing press, is supplemented by handling machines and state of the art laboratory equipment, with stationary and mobile analysis apparatus, guaranteeing an optimised technical support for business efficiency.
The KMR Stainless AG is the operative arm of Oryx Stainless in Mülheim an der Ruhr and is also a qualified disposal company (according to EfbV / Ordinance on Specialised Waste Management Companies) and has a certified quality management system (TQM), according to DIN EN ISO 9002.
