Since 2001, the location in Dordrecht has been actively used by KMR Stainless B.V. – the operative arm of Oryx Stainless in the Netherlands. This storage unit has an area of approximately 40,000 m² and its direct deep water access provides an ideal prerequisite for the international bulk and container business of the KMR group.

With a capacity of well over 400,000 mt p.a. Dordrecht has one of the biggest turnovers for stainless steel scrap in the Rotterdam region. The largest single bulk stainless steel scrap delivery of 15,000 mt was shipped from here in 2005.

Helped by, in part self-developed, scrap processing tools, staff can optimise products according to the needs of the customers. The most modern discharge and loading machinery, as well as a state of the art quality assurance equipment allows for efficient warehousing and above all, a quick stock turnover.
